Environmental simulation
Climatic stress is caused by the impact of a variety of environmental influences on a touchscreen. Stress factors can be caused by the
- natural climate,
- climatic influences caused by civilization,
- as well as high humidity.
Closely related to the environmental simulation of climatic influences is the thermal stress, which can be caused by the climate as well as by internal issues in the touch system.
The aim of the environmental simulation tests carried out by Interelectronix is to expose a touch screen to the expected climatic conditions in order to test the suitability of materials, electronics and the selected construction for the future location.
