Cambrios launches new generation of ClearOhm®
Touchscreen technology

Cambrios Technologies Corporation, the market leader in silver nanowire technology (SNW), announced the launch of its next generation of ClearOhm® material in early October 2014.

Silver nanowire technology has many advantages for next-generation devices, including curved or rollable touchscreens. They are more powerful, more available and cheaper. The product line is already in mass production and ready for shipment to major customers worldwide.

ClaerOhm is thinner, lighter and stronger

ClearOhm® from Cambrios is highly transparent (>98% transmission) with a surface resistance of less than 30 ohms/square. The product is cheaper than ITO (indium tin oxide) and the cost advantage is noticeable depending on the increase in size.

The transmission is 92% higher than the 90% of the ITO OGS sensor. Which results in a brighter display, longer battery life, invisible grids and the elimination of the moiré effect.

With significantly higher conductivity than indium tin oxide (ITO), Cambrio's silver nanowire inks are well suited for cell phones, tablets and other mobile devices. ClearOhm material based on touch sensors is already included in dozens of consumer electronics devices worldwide.
