##Professionelle Preparatory work
A touch screen is attached to the carrier plate by means of an adhesive tape or a seal. Both the manufacturing process and the seal itself have a considerable influence on the quality, durability and tightness of a touchscreen.
With a special and strictly monitored production process in combination with seals that are optimized for the respective areas of application, Interelectronix achieves high-quality and permanently stable connections.
##Nur highest quality seals
In harsh industrial environments as well as in clinical environments, resistant seals are of paramount importance. Strong disinfectants, dirt, germs, bacteria, dust or even moisture have a damaging effect on the seals, which means that there is a risk that the technology of the touchscreen will be damaged.
The production of resistant and permanently sealed touchscreens requires both extensive experience in the selection of suitable materials and a monitored manufacturing process in the clean room.
Of particular importance is our many years of know-how in bonding and the exact application of seals. We use the novel Formed-In-Place process to avoid incorrect cuts.
##Kundenspezifische Touchscreens up to IP 68
For customer-specific touchscreens, we offer tightness according to the different IP protection classes:
- Splash-proof
- Absolutely waterproof
- IP 65+ (protected against water jets from all directions)
- IP 64 / IP 68In order to guarantee the respective IP specifications, not only a high precision in processing is relevant, but also the use of suitable materials.
Depending on the desired IP specification, we use:
- closed-pore foams
- Adhesive material only
- very thin seals with 0.5 mm
The seals are usually foamed using the FIP process, but can also be punched or laser-cut if necessary.
