Control Range Rover via touchscreen
Touchscreen Technology News

The car manufacturer Range Rover not only equips the center console of its cars with touchscreen technologies, but also uses touch displays for other functions. An app from the manufacturer now makes it possible for the touchscreen of a smartphone to act as a remote control for its new Range Rover Sport off-road vehicle.

Control the car via app

This allows the driver to maneuver his car through rough terrain at any time without the help of a passenger. And that without having to sit behind the wheel yourself - simply with your smartphone as a window control. The video below shows how well it works.

Whether and when the technology shown in the video will be produced for the masses is not yet certain. However, we think that the prototype shown, which is already running with this technology, cuts a pretty good figure.
