The French car manufacturer Peugeot presented its new i-Cockpit 2.0 at the Paris Motor Show at the beginning of October. The new high-tech cockpit with a large touchscreen display celebrated its premiere in the new Peugeot 3008.
8 inch automotive touch display
In addition to a large touchscreen that can be used at the touch of a finger to display all functions and equipment such as radio, air conditioning, etc. The equipment also includes the head-up display and the compact steering wheel.
- The 8-inch capacitive touch display is mounted on the center console and enables quick response, as well as simple and intuitive operation.
- The 12.3-inch head-up display delivers a high-resolution digital display with a futuristic design.
- The compact steering wheel ensures that the driver always has a good view of the futuristic interior and that the need for movement is smaller, faster and more agile.
According to the manufacturer, the new cockpit concept will also be gradually implemented in the other Peugeots. There are even considerations about cooperation with models from other car manufacturers or sister companies (Citroen and Toyota).
