Robust borosilicate surface ensures the reliability of the touchscreen
The microglass surface of the ULTRA touchscreens is impact-resistant, vandal-proof and scratch-resistant. This ensures that the touch screen is not damaged by falling objects or improper handling in the harsh industrial environment of the storage facilities or during cargo handling, thus creating no obstacle to the smooth running of the processes. While many resistive touchscreens scratch quickly and are therefore limited in their function, Interelectronix with the patented glass-film-glass (ULTRA) touchscreens offers maximum scratch resistance and even in the event of a deep scratch, the touch panel continues to function perfectly.
Fast, universal use of the touchscreen
The distribution of goods must not only be handled smoothly, but also particularly quickly in order to meet delivery times. Just in time is the top priority in the logistics industry. The simple and fast use of logistics systems via touchscreens at all stages of the supply chain saves valuable time. Universal use with gloves, pens, bare finger or cards is another time-saving factor. Gloves are almost always used in the warehouse and when handling goods, and therefore it is advantageous that our ULTRA touchscreens can also be operated perfectly with gloves.
ULTRA touchscreens – functional in wet and cold conditions
The loading and unloading of goods does not always take place indoors. As a result, forklift terminals or portable devices are often exposed to moisture and cold. Conventional polyester (PET) laminations of the touchscreen surface are only water-repellent and are worn out by frequent contact with moisture and moisture and thus impair their function. Since our ULTRA touchscreens have a microglass surface, they are completely waterproof even after years and are therefore well suited for integration into forklifts. Even low temperatures in winter do not affect the touchscreens. Touchscreens that can also be used outdoors must be set to an extended temperature range. ULTRA touchscreens retain their full functionality and are not damaged at temperatures up to - 40°Celsius and +75°Celsius.
