Easy to use and weatherproof
On construction sites, it is necessary to work with thick gloves and therefore it is necessary to be able to operate the touchscreen quickly and easily, even with gloves. With ULTRA Glas Film Glas Touchscreens, it is easily possible to trigger a touch safely and reliably, even with thick gloves, as it is a purely pressure-based technology. Thus, the touchscreens can be operated universally. The borosilicate glass surface of the screen is completely insensitive to dirt and moisture and can therefore be operated without hesitation with oily or dirty fingers.
ULTRA touchscreens are not only very resistant to heat and cold, but also completely waterproof. The microglass surface shields the screen against moisture and does not leak over a long period of time, as can be the case with conventional polyester (PET) laminations. ULTRA GFG touchscreens are therefore also safe to clean and disinfect – even chemical cleaning agents do not harm the screen, which is very beneficial in case of constant contact with dirt and dust on construction sites.
Impact and scratch resistant ULTRA touchscreens

For use in this harsh environment, the scratch-resistant and robust surface of the resistive ULTRA touchscreens is particularly suitable. While many conventional resistive touchscreens are easily scratched even by dust and are thus limited in their function, Interelectronix with these patented glass film glass touchscreens offers the highest impact and scratch resistance. And even in the event of a deep scratch, the ULTRA touch panel continues to work perfectly.
High-quality optical laminations for good readability in sunlight
In order to ensure good visibility, the driver's cabs of construction machinery are equipped with large windows – in the case of high visio cabs, they are even completely glazed. For example, the integrated touchscreens are often located in sunlight. That's why Interelectronix develops specially tuned touchscreens that deliver high image brilliance even in direct sunlight. For our ULTRA GFG touchscreens we use a very high-quality optical laminate. This achieves excellent contrasts and correspondingly good readability of the touchscreen even in direct sunlight. In addition to the durability and ease of use of the touchscreens, we also attach particular importance to meeting the visual requirements.
