Climatic influence of touch panels
Since a touchscreen is usually not only affected by a single climatic influence, but also by many different climatic stress factors due to the course of the day and year, Interelectronix develops very individual environmental simulation tests for each application, which are precisely based on the expected environmental influences and the respective climate situation of the location.
Stress factors of individual climate zones
A particular challenge is posed by applications that are used worldwide in completely different regions and climate zones.
In such cases, environmental simulation tests are used, which are based on the sum of all stress factors of the individual climate zones. This is the only way to prevent climate tests from being too weak and failures from occurring in areas with extreme climatic conditions.
This approach is in line with our Reliability Engineering approach, which specifies the reliability of our touchscreens and touch panels as the top priority for development, testing and manufacturing.
