Low EMC emissions - not localizable

One of the most important requirements for technical applications and thus also for touchscreens in military use is low electromagnetic radiation. The touchscreen must be easily exposed to electromagnetic radiation in order to be able to function undisturbed in the environment of military reconnaissance technology. Since touch screens are often used in military communication technology, it is of utmost importance that the lowest possible electromagnetic radiation can be emitted and thus absorbed in order to ensure secure communication and to exclude localization via electromagnetic radiation.

Interelectronix places the highest priority in the production of the touchscreens on compliance with the respective military standards required to ensure the protection of eavesdropping of sensitive military information and not to enable localization via emitted radiation from the touch panel. ## Extremely robust lamination - scratch and impact resistance

Military applications are constantly exposed to dirty or dusty environments and must not be damaged as a result. Especially applications in desert regions require a robust surface of the touchscreen, which must not be scratched by sand. While many resistive touchscreens scratch quickly and are therefore limited in their function, our patented glass-film-glass (ULTRA) touchscreens offer the highest scratch resistance and even in the event of a deep scratch, the touch panel continues to function perfectly. Due to the special lamination with borosilicate glass, the screens are extremely impact-resistant and do not have to be treated with special care to guarantee functionality. This is particularly beneficial for armed forces in the field, as ULTRA touchscreens from Interelectronix are not only extremely fast and easy to use, but also do not require any special care in terms of storage or operation.

Absolutely waterproof, extremely temperature resistant

High humidity in tropical regions of the world, freezing cold or heavy rain are just a few examples of the extreme weather conditions that have to be taken into account in defense technology. The patented ULTRA technology makes it possible to produce Interelectronix touch screens that maintain their full functionality in extreme temperatures, in rain, snow and even under water. In contrast to polyester (PET), which is used as a touchscreen surface in conventional resistive technologies, our special glass lamination is an absolutely waterproof material. For military use, of course, the durability of the touch panel at extreme temperatures is extremely important. ULTRA touchscreens retain their full functionality and are not damaged at temperatures up to - 40°Celsius and +75°Celsius.
