Since we rely completely on Apple and OSX for our PC hardware, even before the iPhone / iPad hype, it was not so easy to find a high-quality CAD system that meets our requirements. To be honest, most applications are more in the semi-professional corner. Even on Windows platform, there are not so many applications that are a truly future-proof investment.
My favorite Siemens NX 7.5
The performance of Siemens NX 7.5 on OSX is really impressive. Even the most complex models are implemented very reliably. The modular design really leaves nothing to be desired.

The first tests then completely convinced me. The comfort and the very coherent operating concept are truly unique in the industry. Of course, all this comes at a hefty price, but no matter where we develop as a company in the coming years, Siemens NX will actively support us.
