Even direct contact with moisture does not damage the touch panel at all. The micro glass surface completely protects the screen against moisture and, unlike conventional polyester (PET) laminations, remains impenetrable even over extended periods of time. For this reason, it is safe to clean and disinfect ULTRA touch screens – even chemical cleaning agents do not affect the screen. This is an advantage in the agricultural environment, where constant contact with dirt and dust is unavoidable.
