Leitfähige Drucktinten mit Nanosilver nehmen Fahrt auf
Technologie News

At the last trade fair Printed Electronics USA 2013, Peter Willaert, Product Manager PE of Agfa-Materials in Belgium gave a presentation entitled "OrgaconGrid - Strategies Towards More Transparent And Higher Conductivity Flexible Electrodes" in the field of Transparent conductive films - Metal Mesh.

Nanosilver ink revolutionizes the market for electronic printed products

What will drive the market for electronic printed products is the increasing number of devices such as RFID (=Radio Frequency IDentification), sensors, functionalized packaging, touch-based surfaces, health products, Internet of Things, etc. The success of such printed products depends above all on cost-effective production.

A few years ago, researchers used a three-layer printing process with semiconducting nanotubes to produce enriched printing ink that could store information when energized. This made it possible to easily print RFID chips, for example.

In the meantime, Agfa-Materials has revolutionized the market with its Orgacon Nanosilver Inks and presents the advantages of the SI-P1000x Nanosilver Ink in the above-mentioned presentation. The following picture shows an excerpt from the fact sheet of the mentioned product.
