UX Design: Why Usability and User Experience is Important
User Experience

Only those who know the requirements, wishes or goals of their users can provide their users with a service or application that delights them. If you are not yet clear about user requirements, you need to conduct user research or find a partner who is familiar with the creation of user-friendly applications.

If you simply develop a product in the hope that the user will tell you what doesn't fit, you are generally taking a certain risk. Because any application or service that has not been tested for its UUX can be doomed even before it is successful. Users who are not satisfied with its use and have formed a negative opinion of the product will quickly leave. They then often switch to a competitor's alternative or “badmouth” the application.

Cost reduction by saving on UX design a mistake

If the costs for a suitable UX design are still low during development, they can rise sharply afterwards. Due to changes that are not yet foreseeable. So it makes no sense to reduce costs in advance by saving UX design if you seriously want to meet individual user requirements.

If you are unsure who your users are exactly, whether they understand the application at all and who has to pay attention to the costs, it is better to work with prototypes. They are better suited for testing user acceptance than a finished product and can go into production after the necessary updates and improvements.
