Customer-specific special solutions are our strength. It is not uncommon for special requirements for electromagnetic compatibility to be required.

EMC - ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL

Electromagnetic compatibility must comply with both legal requirements and application-specific requirements.

All touchscreens from Interelectronix are compliant with the law on the electromagnetic compatibility of equipment applicable in Germany as well as the European EMC Directive 2004/108/EC. They have the appropriate CE marking and comply with the underlying standards.

##BESONDERS EMC SENSITIVE AREAS OF APPLICATIONOur touchscreen solutions are used in various industries and applications.Learn MoreIn addition to the standard EMC requirements, however, there are extremely sensitive areas in which a much higher electromagnetic compatibility and lower interference radiation are required.

In the medical environment, it is of utmost importance to keep the EMC values low in order not to influence other devices through interference radiation.

EMC is equally important for military applications, not only in order not to interfere with the functioning of other devices, but also not to provide localization by means of electromagnetic fields.

However, the touchscreen itself must be able to cope with electromagnetic radiation from other devices without any problems in order to function without interference, e.g. in the environment of military reconnaissance technology or clinical high-frequency devices.

Both our projected capacitive touchscreens and our resistive ULTRA GFG touchscreens are coated with ITO for optimal shielding.

Typically, we use ITO coated films for standard applications in both technologies, as they deliver absolutely satisfactory results while offering extremely high-quality optical properties.

For maximum shielding for critical areas such as military technology or medical technology, ITO mesh coatings are preferably used. This "mesh fabric" has the highest possible shielding and thus leads to extremely high standards in EMC compatibility.

##ULTRA GFG for the highest EMC requirements

With the ULTRA GFG touchscreenInterelectronix a product that is optimally adapted to the highest requirements in terms of

  • interference radiation,
  • RF shielding and
  • Electromagnetic compatibility

is aligned.

Since current is always flowing with projected capacitive touchscreens, the electromagnetic field is constantly present despite ITO coatings and can lead to problems in extreme cases. All our PCAP touch screens comply with the EN61000 4-6 Class A standard.

ULTRA for Military and Intelligence

A touchscreen for military applications must be able to withstand extreme conditions.Learn MoreFor the highest requirements, our patented ULTRA technology with an ITO mesh coating is the optimal solution, because a circuit is only closed in the event of a pressure-based touch. The ULTRA technology is therefore ideally suited for the field of military technology and intelligence services.
