Pulverbeschichten
Widerstandsfähige Lackierung

With powder coating or powder coating, Interlectronix offers its customers the opportunity to customize the color of front panels or housings.

In addition to the color design, powder coating has the advantage that by baking in the color powder, a uniformly dense coating is achieved, which

  • is very resistant,
  • has a high level of corrosion protection,
  • has a high light resistance,
  • is very weather-resistant,
  • and is extremely resistant to shocks and scratches.

Electrostatic coloring process

The prerequisite for powder coating is that the material to be coated is electrically conductive. In powder coating, color powder is electrostatically charged and applied to the material with a powder gun.

Consequently, powder coating works on the principle of electrostatic charge, in which the powder and component attract each other. When spraying the material, the dry paint powder is charged via an electrode.

The electric field is therefore created when the grounded housing comes into contact with the powder and the powder thus adheres firmly.

The powder coatings can be produced in all RAL colours as well as any desired intermediate shade.

The colour coating is then baked in a baking oven at a temperature between 140° and 200° C.
