User-Friendly and Weather-Resistant
Working on construction sites requires thick gloves. For this reason, it is necessary that the touch screen can be operated quickly and easily even with gloves. With ULTRA glass-film-glass touch screens it is possible to trigger a touch even with thick gloves, as their technology is purely pressure-based. Thus, the touch screens can be operated universally. The borosilicate glass surface of the screen is completely resistant to dirt or moisture. For this reason, it is perfectly all right to operate it with greasy or dirty fingers. ULTRA touch screens are not only very heat and cold-resistant but also fully waterproof. The micro glass surface protects the screen against moisture and, unlike conventional polyester (PET) laminations, remains impenetrable even over extended periods of time. For this reason, it is safe to clean and disinfect ULTRA GFG touch screens – even chemical cleaning agents do not affect the screen. This is an advantage on construction sites, where constant contact with dirt and dust is unavoidable.
Impact and Scratch-Resistant Touch Screens

And even in case of a deep scratch, the ULTRA touch panel continues to function flawlessly.
High-Quality Optical Laminations for Good Readability in Sunlight
Drivers' cabs in construction equipment are equipped with large windows to ensure good visibility – high visio cabs are even completely glazed. Thus, the integrated touch screens are often exposed to sunlight. For this reason, Interelectronix develops specially adapted touch screens that deliver crystal clear optics, even in direct sunlight. We use a very high-quality optical laminate for our ULTRA GFG touch screens. This achieves excellent contrasts and correspondingly good readability, even in direct sunlight. Apart from stability and easy handling of the touch screen, we also attach particular importance to complying with the optical requirements.
