Heat absorbing filters to reduce the infrared energy impact

As a custom option we laminate a NIR (near infrared rejection) filter to the back of the touch screen. The IR filter reflects up to 70% of the infrared energy that hits the lcd behind the touch screen. Only the infrared wavelength part of the light spectrum is cut-off while visible light passes through.
